Third Party Administrator - TPA Registration
A Third Party Administrator Registration (TPA-Vaccines) is required for any person or entity who, on behalf of a health insurer or health care purchaser, receives or collects charges, contributions, or premiums for, or adjust or settles claims on or for, residents of Washington State or Washington health care providers and facilities.
Third party administrators who have no other requirement to register as a business in Washington State* may complete a TPA registration directly with the Washington Vaccine Association.
*For example: TPAs not required to hold any other license in Washington State, not having employees working in Washington State, and not being liable for making any tax payments to Washington State.
For all other third party administrators who must normally register for business in the state of Washington, you must register as a Third Party Administrator by filing a Business License Application (see “How to apply” below).

- Complete a Business License Application.
- Mail your completed application with a check or money order payable to “Department of Licensing” for the fees to:
