Commercial cigarette making machine
A Commercial Cigarette Making Machine License is required for each location where one or more machines are provided to retail customers to produce 'Roll Your Own' cigarettes.
Note: A Cigarette Retailer License is required to hold the commercial cigarette making machine license. You will also need a Tobacco Products Retailer License to sell the tobacco used in the cigarette making machine.
Required tax stamps
After your license has been approved you must purchase and attach Roll Your Own cigarette tax stamps for the cigarettes produced through the cigarette making machine. Contact the Department of Revenue Special Programs Division for information on obtaining the tax stamps at (360) 570-3265, and request option 3.
Post your license
A license must be posted at each location where the licensee operates. You may not begin this business activity until you receive a Business License document listing the required license.
Important note: The application for the new Commercial Cigarette Making Machine license is available only as a paper form. See the "How to apply by mail" section below.
